I was born in Russia on Catholic Christmas, December 25, 1992. In 2019, I had a liminal existence human experience - I had complex heart surgery because the valve in my heart had been working poorly since birth. That's one of the reasons, why I am so spirituality-oriented thinker.
Basically, I explore liminal states of human existence, the afterlife, different forms of spirituality and the search for God in my scripts.
My family lived in the city of Birobidzhan, the only official Jewish settlement in the world (even before Israel), created by the Soviet government as an alternative to the Zionist project on the territory of modern Russia from 1934 in the Far East near to China. Jewish people were forced to live there by Stalin, so that I’m used to consider oppressive political and governmental authoritarian systems in my film works.
In 2016, I graduated from State Maritime academy of Admiral Makarov, radio engineering department. It was former military institution - that’s why I hardly accomplished it because of psychological reasons even I was most talented student there. I was oppressed there because of my liberal political beliefs.
In 2023, I graduated from the VGIK, in the field of scriptwriting and theatrical dramaturgy (Workshop of Yuri Arabov, who won best screenplay prize and France's «Humanity» at Festival de Cannes-1999 for his film script «Moloch» about Adolf Hitler).
In November 2024, I also completed Show-runner course in Moscow Film School, where I developed my first TV Series script (“Psychodrama”) for Mars Media Entertainment (TOP-5 leading film company in Russia).
From 2022 (since Russia's invasion to Ukraine) to 2024, I mainly lived in Turkey, striving for accomplishing my artistic duties in Russia as distantly as it was possible and vainly trying to come to terms with a new life and politic reality. I took part and won best prizes in a variety of Russian pitchings and script contests. However, two my feature scripts (“Acclimatization” and “Oleasya’s home”) were censored and excluded from the main competition by Ministry of Culture of Russia) because they are dedicated to too much provocative and objectionable social issues of Russia: inter-ethnic conflict and orphaned children being returned to orphanages.
In December of 2024 I moved to the Netherlands, Amsterdam and started my international artistic career. I'm always open-hearted to new exciting cinema, theatrical and collaboration opportunities with artists from around the world.
